I'm with your LT. Can't stand the interface. Leaves me feeling like AOL, the computer had something it wanted me to do and I just watched. In the end, it accomplished nothing.
It'll all be better when apple isn't around.

At my school, it was always the Apple's being used and the PCs being neglected. The Apple's were always more stable and more smooth in their use for most everyone I know. Hell, after working on PCs all day, coming home to a mac is a relief in stability and well-thought design. It's no wonder that only one person in my entire tech support department has a Windows machine at home (the rest are split between Mac OS X and Free BSD)

Every time I get a new computer, which admittedly is not very often, I think "this will be the time I go for a Mac," but something always draws me back to the PC side of things. That thing is freely available pirated software. I know Mac is more stable and stuff, but I actually do prefer the Windows taskbar to the OS X dock. Even though Macs are more stable, when running a bunch of programs they do make the screen more cluttered. Rather than a sort of free-form distribution of stuff I prefer the structure of the Windows approach to the more free form Mac style.
