Now that I'm back in the wonderful world of retail after a long break without having a job, I remember how stupid people can be. I dealt with lots of stupid people at the golf course, and this job at Nordstroms is bringing back lots of old feelings. Here's the story.

This older lady brings back some shirt for a return. I do the return, she gives me her BofA card to credit her account. I swipe the card and it runs as an ATM card, requiring a pin. I hand her the pin pad..

Me: Can you enter your pin and press the green button?
Her: I want you to run it as a debit. (starts pressing buttons all over)
Me: (grabs pin pad) Ok, we can do that. (runs as debit)
Me: (hands her sig. slip) Just sign here for me please.
Her: No, I asked you to run it as a debit, so I'd have to enter my pin number.


:doh:

 

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah that's one of the many customers you'll piss off yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

 

im glad i just stock. . anyhoo, i hate working. haha

 

oh man, i was so mad from dealing with these asshole customers on saturday. i went home and punched holes in a cardboard box and picked up my tripod and took a swing at it.

on monday, this woman gave me "im gonna kill you" look because i gave her a grande lid. one day, i might flip out and punch a customer in the face, hopefully that wont happen though.

I don't think you can get anymore retarded then the customer I had today.
Customer: I need a kitchen counter top?
Me: OK how are you going to transport it with it raining outside?
Customer: Well IM driving 70 miles and its going to be the back of my open pickup truck.
Me: you know that it will warp if the bottom gets wet right?
Customer: Oh yeah guess I did not think of that perhaps I should come back when its not raining.

 

That's what I'm SUPPOSED to be doing.

Formica counter tops are done over MDF wood, Bottom of the counter is exposed and will warp when exposed to alot of water.
