Default accident, what should I ask for?

well to put this shortly, i was parallel parked on campus and some stupid lady in her jeep wrangler decides to bump my car a few times in the process of parking. At first i thought the bumper was scraped down to the plastic, but turns out after cleaning and waxing that its just down a couple layers of paint.

so its not that bad but...

the paint will all start cracking around the area, i'm sure of this.
and she left some creases in the plastic bumper
and its obvious where some of the paint was scraped off

she was nice enough to give me a call after i left her a note, actually i ended up talking to her husband.

Ok, so what should I ask for from them? I dont wanna be a jerk, but i'm super poor and i just want my car back to the way it was

advice?

go to a body shop and get a quote and send it to them so they can pay you.

dont think like that man. its your car and all you want is to get it back to the way it was. that is not asking much at all. my old boss bumped my car with his truck and put a descent size dent into my door. That was 1,800 to fix right there.

The body shop quoted my insurance ~$500 for an OEM bumper and paint job when I got backed into. Just get a quote and call em up.
