It is very much alive, Jean Todt now part of Ferraris road car program. MS did a lot of testing and helped in development of the Enzo Ferrari. They have made it a point to bring what is done on the track to the streets.

Yes that made it all worth working 28.5hrs of OT last week

BTW you have to show up on saturday to drive my car again

sound well in a word... fuggin great! it wasn't like the F360 at redline flying by me but you know that muscle car sound. even at normal freeway speeds it was impressive.

the poor guy had to stay on the slow lane and all the way over to the right of that lane due to all the people trying to get a look at the car and coming into his lane right next to him hehe

as for saturday... I'm going to try stay as late as I can and arrive as soon as I can. depends on if I'm working til 9 or 11 on friday

ALMS, FIA Sports Car, and ACO use three vertically-arranged lights forward of the rear wheels to show position info. For example on the DBR9, the lights are here:

Or if you look at this Audi R8, the lights are the three black circles in front of the rear wheel:

This is IMSA's competitor bulletin for the system in ALMS: http://www.imsaracing.net/2003/competitors/cb04-03.pdf

I don't think Grand Am uses this system, but I could be wrong.

As for the which series the DBR9 will race in, it will at the very least run in ALMS. See this article for reference: http://www.imsaracing.net/imsaNS.cfm...471048ALMS.htm
