Ok. Go write some fully compliant drivers for the Matrox P650 and Matrox G450 and Matrox G550 video cards, for linux on x86 platform.

Can you imagine Microsoft writing an OS for cars. Driving down the interstate going 75mph when your Navi screen shows the blue screen of death and your car spontaneously combusts.

I've heard that one before. h:

Consider this: most of the [Qualcomm] mobile computing systems used in interstate trucking are Windows-based. And they're doing a heck of a lot more than just office-work..these systems are integrated to the point where the vehicle can be given a diagnostic check remotely, and the engine management adjusted as necessary.

Soon, boost regulation and fuel maps will be revised in real-time based on GPS position. Higher peak boost in the Rockies for addtional power; less aggressive boost curve (and greater economy) for the plains.
