The focus of the MoveOn PAC strategy has been to identify voters that have voted Democrat in one of the last four elections but have not voted every time, and to get them to vote.

Most people either vote themselves or vote by absentee. Some people don't like the prospect of voting by absentee but then for whatever reason can't make it to the polls: they're old, they don't have a car because they live in an urban area, whatever.

And I prefer my Bombay gin mixed with tonic and a twist of lime. :fawk:

my friend made the dumbest comment yesterday. he says he definetely knows bush is gonna win, and i asked him why. He works for the republican office in his area (just a little background). well, he tells me he's called a thousand people and most of them said they were supporting bush. now, i'm not sure if you know this, but those offices get only the phone numbers of registered republicans (or dems if its a dem office).

That isn't necessarily true around here (WI). I have gotten calls from Dems and I am definitely not a registered dem. ............ usually when I see that number on the caller ID I answer the phone with "Republican headquarters" somewhere in the first sentence.
haha They usually don't have a real good/quick comeback.
