What would be your verdict...allow him to move to the new place or tell him to go back home to mommy and daddy?

Remember although I am frustrated with his habits he is also a good friend of mine so realistically applied solutions are needed.

Hi Nightshade: I wouldnt give him the boot if hes a good friend of yours.
Thats the last thing I would want to hear if i lost my job. He sounds a bit messy though. I would sit him down and have a talk with him.

If he wasnt a good friend then i would have him pack up his shit and be out.

Well he gave himself the boot today

I asked him if he was interested in moving out there into the house with me and he said that he has decided he is going to stay within the immediate Portland area instead.

This reminds me I need a job. I'm even trying retail to get back into the workforce.

I'm bored.

if he is a good freind, help him get back on his feet, but dont give him charity or let him think he is using u. u shouldnt send him packing, thats too harsh for someone who just lost a job and is a little confused right now

EDIT: i'll just read the whole post next time, but i still like my advice

Nah I don't have a problem helping a brotha out and all, but this is a pattern with him and its taking its toll.

This is the third job he has been fired from in the last year...so helping him out is not something I am inclined to do at this point, now it is a matter of being used as a friend and I will not let that happen.
