h::werd: Masters here and you can teach college level as well... I think only as an adjunct tho. :dunno: It may depend on the college/class.. etc. That's what my mom's doing now.
I think that'd be awesome! Seriously, it fits you so well.
At my HS though, there were different level art classes. I never took any of them, but I had the one Art teacher for homeroom my soph. year. She was a bitch. But anyway, the class she taught dealt with the History of art and all that for the 1st half..then the second half they did all the fun drawings and paintings and such. Would you want to do that or just teach an advanced class where they already know all the history mumbo jumbo and can just paint and draw and stuffs??

i go to virginia commonwealth U. and it's an amazing art school as well. my parents are looking into moving down here, and my mom would go here toofor her masters. weirdddddd, hopefully i'll be out by then.
doesnt sound like a bad plan. associates, then bachelors, then gotta get credentials, i'm assuming. you're very courageous to think about high school. high school students have to be the worst!! lol. dont you remember your high school days?
also...i would think 40-50 is kind of a high to expect to start at...at least in CA it would be. i dont know what teachers get paid over there
