Sooo... as some of you may know.. (or not) I'm currently going to school to get my associates in graphic design.

But the thought of being stuck in an office.. REALLY makes my skin crawl. And for years..(Since at least...96-97ish) the idea of being a teacher has been stuck in my head.... But.. who knows what actually kept me from pursuing it? I do plan on continuing school and getting my Bachelor's once I'm done in June... I just hope I won't have to make up TOO many classes should I decide to pursue an art teaching career. :happysad:

I see myself as a science or drafting teacher... english if I actually get around to finishing a college english class. Been speakin the language all these years and me still don't do it right. Do me?

My highschool art teacher had a lifelong insperation on me. Can't say the same for my science or english teacher.

Art teachers always weirded me out. I had an art class for a couple years. I think it was 2d/3d design. It was a great class and the teacher was pretty cool. Kind of unbalanced, but cool anyway. Wouldn't say he had an impact on my life, though. The only teacher I had that's impacted my life a lot was in first grade. Then two years later she died.

But anyway. If you keep thinking about being a teacher and you find that you can do it, I'd say go for it. Especially if it's a subject you're into.

I would, myself... but I'm greedy and I want to make a bunch of money, so teaching is out for the time being. haha.

 

Different strokes for different folks... that's the spice of life. Maybe I would make a good art teacher.... I deffinatly weird people out.
Money.. meh... I'd be comfortable at 40-50k a year. And summers off.
Maybe I will seriously look into this....
