If IE was so great, why is FF doing so well before it's even offically released?

I'm also not sure what you mean by "cover."

What is Avant Browser?
Avant Browser can be best described as a custom web browser application. Avant Browser is a standalone application designed to expand services provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I'm not saying that Firefox is perfect, but on most systems it will load faster and parse web pages faster than IE while using less memory. It can be visually modified and the plugin library is enormous. The fact that Firefox doesn't suffer from the endless parade of exploits that IE provides is just icing on the cake.

To be honest, FF has some serious issues with CSS too - but since it's not completed or "offically released" yet, I wont complain about it.

I've never had an "exploit" problem with any microsoft program. I don't see why everyone hates microsoft so much(crap this is going to start an argument).

Having too much of a market controlled by one company upsets the balance and doesn't give comsumers enough choices, reliability, and price.
Imagine if everyone drove a Ford. Highways only supported Ford. Pulling up to a McD or BK, you had to be driving a Ford. Goto the track you have to drive a Ford. Ford wants more money, sure just increase the price by 10% for no reason... what are consumers going to do? Goto someone else? There is noone else. Kinda sucks if you just don't like anything Ford has to offer and want a choice.

Put simply: if your software company had billions in the bank and some of the brightest programmers on Earth, would you be satisfied with a crappy product? Would you expect your customers to be satisfied with it?
Once upon a time I was happy with Netscape, but it has become a really crappy, bloated product. Ditto Realplayer. Even Windows 2000 Professional was a decent product, but Windows XP is substantially slower without being substantially better. Adobe Photoshop gets slower with every release, but it always brings something special to the table.
While you personally may have never seen your Windows PC been exploited, it happens. A lot. If you're really interested in the subject, check out www.securityfocus.com. The Editor of the site is a really sharp guy named Kevin Poulsen.
