In fact, IE does have a build number (click Help -> About, if you're using XP with SP2 you're probably on 2180), but I was really just talking smack about Avant. Even though its just a "cover," it still has issues:

What is Avant Browser?

Avant Browser can be best described as a custom web browser application. Avant Browser is a standalone application designed to expand services provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer.



I'm not saying that Firefox is perfect, but on most systems it will load faster and parse web pages faster than IE while using less memory. It can be visually modified and the plugin library is enormous. The fact that Firefox doesn't suffer from the endless parade of exploits that IE provides is just icing on the cake.
