just throwing this in, i dunno where i read it but it said that mankind as a species is really only meant to live 40 years, and thats considered alot back then, cause if you notice after 40 its all down hill, we get weaker and cancer and altimers (sp?) and other diseases which didnt exsist when humans didn't live nearly as long as we do now. I believe in the cases of aids, if those infilicted would not have sex or children, or just adopt children, it would help reduce the virus. People with other disablilities should be encouraged and treated right, but in some cases should adopt if they deisire to. I know one kid, he's kinda a joke, real bible thumper but he's very smart. now his parents, I beleive his mom is mental disabled or retarded or something, and I think his dad also has something wrong with him as well, yet their kid happens to be ranked high in the class and akes all honors classes. Weird how stuff works out. I do however belive somewhat in natural selection. People with disabilities should be more encouraged to adopt yet if they want kids of their own then go right ahead.

natural selection is da bomb. if you drive your car too fast and get killed. well, sorry to tell you, your ain't going to have kids that drive your b16a2 when they grow up either. cause one, you're dead to have kids, and two, youre b16a2 rocket is smucked.

no in all seriousness. you don't have to worry about natural selection. most major diseases cause sterility to some certain degree so thats that, but on a different level. lets just say you meet up with a chick thats got some cancer or disease but she's not sterile. but the fact that you know this. makes the fact that maybe you won't wanna continue the relationship with her (if you're shallow - har har) but you see what i mean. ok ok, in other words, attractive people are most likely the healthy ones too... you go figure it out from there.

that is BS. You can have a perfectly healthy looking person, to find out they have brain cancer, breast cancer, or AIDS. Some of the ugliest people can be in great physical condition.

Models are about the least healthy people on the planet. Do some research and find out what it takes for them to maintain that figure.

You gusy are confusing genetic disorders with diseases..

asmhea will never be cured unless your alter your dna.

i realize that, so thats why i said most. i didn't say ALL.
most meaning, the ratio of healthy people that look good is probably more than diseased people with genectic diseases that look good

models are models, people just fantasize about hitting them or some actually do. but they probably don't fit into the general category of being healthy and attractive and i agree with you there. i'd put them under the trick category where they look good enough to hit but probably be a bad evolutionary deal. cause if you had a baby with a model. the baby wouldn't turn out all that healthy? lol cause the baby would have a seizure inside the womb when the chick put on her size 1 pants

personally i think that modern medicine is more of a detriment to society than a help, but that's just my opinion. what are your thoughts?
Either way your argument is a moot point. We, as humans, do have the technology to gather around in a proverbial circle to protect our young and our sick. And that is our strength when faced with natural selection. Maybe you should think about that the next time someone you love has strep throat or needs an operation or who's heartbeat keeps dropping in the middle of being born. An animal's worth is based on it's ability to help provide for the group. Look at Stephen Hawking. Do you think perhaps we should have killed him at birth?

I'm not so much concerned with the sick, because that can be cured either now or in the future. What I'm concerned with are the stupid. These morons who don't realize that a sign that says, "don't walk" means DON'T WALK, walk in front of a car, get hit and sue the driver for all kinds of money. The stupid seem to be gaining more wealth than the intelligent folks nowadays, which just keeps these morons breeding and multiplying at amazing rates. I'm fully up for keeping the sick alive, but all these stupid people should be exiled.
