i hated it when you couldnt change your oil during the championship races.

 

they added a thing so iff u run into a wall goin over a certain speed, the game wont let u go over like 20 mph for 10 seconds

 

i think the tire wear in GT3 was pretty unrealistic too.
i mean shit, i'd be running mediums and on certain cars, my tires would be done in 2 laps.
in real life, we have superbike races where they're running tires so soft you can basically push your finger into them, and they don't change their tires for ****ing ever (as compared to 2 laps)

 

true but if they made it that realistic then most of the races wouldn't be fun. I mean I'm sure you can go 20+laps without having to change the tires in real life but most of the races in GT3 were less than 20laps.

i think it is pretty realistic.... considering different cars have different weight and power characteristics. some tires can be gone after a few laps with lots of cornering, braking, and acceleration factors.

 

if i remember correctly...GT1 and GT2, there was this thing were if your tires are bad and you hit the corners of your car often...the wear indicator shows you have suspension damage or something...and cant turn as well.

 

then in that case, they should only have the tire wear on the endurance races. because thats when you really need to pit anyway right?
it isnt' absolutely nessecary to HAVE to pit once, maybe even twice in a 10 lap, 15 minute race. i mean come on.
now a 50-70-100 lap , 2 or 3 hour race. thats completely feasable because thats how it works in real life.
