Small engine question
Im designing a small n2o system for my 440cc 2 stroke engine. I was planning on having two fan style foggers spraying towards the combustion chamber (w/ funnel jets), placed in the intake boot after the carburetor (on each side). But, when either piston reaches TDC, nitrous would be sprayed into the crank case. Is this bad? Or something that I can just ignore. Im thinking about if it could somehow eventually deteriorate the diaphram in my fuel pump, if it got into the vacuum line (then again, its not corrosive..). After a few revolutions of the crank would the n2o eventually break down and be harmless? I know this is a waste of money, but I have nothing better to do. Anyone think that this will be a problem?
I believe Nitrous Express makes 2 stroke kits...check into them. As far as the nitrous going into the crank case, I don't see a problem with it..nothing is combusting down in there.

[Fogger]----,

I think a 12v 30a battery should be sufficient. Right now, my total cost is around 200. Ive seen some of the kits up in the 700's.

I would call them and ask about jetting rather than moving up yourself. It won't take much nitrous to feel a big kick on a motor that small, so going up jet sizes should be done cautiously. You could get the throttle switch that NOS sells with their kits, and somehow rig it to the throttle tube, or have it on a push button momentary all the time like you said, along with an arming switch.
