My Integra LS has dual air filters, a small one on top that has a short pipe and then a big on that goes down into the wheel well.

Most mechanics and car people round here have no idea what I'm refering to though.

I know Honda's first one was the NSX... they were one of the first if not the first with VTEC.

The GSR and newer H22 preludes have dual runner intake manifolds. They promote better torque in the lower-mid range, and then once you reach a certain rpm (5500 in the gsr) the butterflies route the airflow to shorter intake manifold runners for maximum all out power.

honda made the first production car to have variable valve timing, the 1991 NSX. but i'm pretty sure companies (not just honda) had been using it for years in racing. no idea who invented the concept

edit: VTEC and VVTi are a little different. VTEC = variable valve timing and lift electronic control. the links above should explain it. VVTi doesn't have lift. VVTLi probably does, i'm not sure. variable valve timing is pretty commonplace now, but for the past thirteen years it was almost uniquely honda.
