did they give you a slip when you bought insurance? It should tell you what to do.

Call 1-800-pick-ups and hit 0 to talk to a UPS agent and report your problem. Also have the other guy call to report what happened.

UPS gives you an automatic insurance of up to $100. But I am beautiful, so my packages don't break.

I am 99.9% sure you will never get your money back. UPS will claim its your packaging fault.

insurance with any shipping company is a freakin' scam. They will run you around all day long so they don't have to pay up. I had a USPS package STEPPED ON! with a shoe print and everything and they wouldn't honor the ins. because they said it was poorly packaged. Basically, unless you can throw it against a wall at 20mph without breaking it they'll say you didn't package it correctly OR you have to pay them to package it.

Sorry for the problems man.
