266 celeron? Man, that had to be painful. I don't know how you did it, but is it 8? 1996 was a long time ago. (to me) That's 1/4 of my life ago...

PS: I ran Linux on a Dreamcast.

I spent $9 on it, and the whole swap gave me an extra 35hp or so at the wheels without really adding any displacement.

I need a new gearbox more than anything. CX gears are fun, but 2 2 2 tall.
Looks exactly like my CRX Si header, which is supposed to be a very poor design, just look at it , any header is good for noticable gains. I really felt the difference when I put mine on.

Funny you should mention that because they are the same part. In fact, my downpipe is off of a 88 CRX. My CX downpipe wouldn't fit so I hit the junkyard. The flanges were totally different.

Apple's on to something? :slap:

It's been around for over 50 years, and Apples on to something. That's like saying Honda just decided to use rubber tires, hell they've been around for over 100 years, Honda's on to something.

And there is no Pentium 33mhz. Pentiums started at 60mhz.

I am running Linux on a computer, that's been upgraded, that's only a Pentium 200 with 64mb ram.

Puttin new OS's on old hardware isn't all that cool anymore.

I remember back in 92 my friend got a 386 16mhz with 8mb of ram he wanted 4MB but the idiot at compusa put in 4 2mb modules instead of 4 1mb modules.

As a fellow Mac Zealot, that is truly awesome. :goodjob: Great work.

If this system is stable enough under OS X, why not scrounge around for another 3 or 4 external SCSI drives? h: I can't think of a cheaper way to find compatible storage. Or you could restore an old SCSI-2 RAID arrray. h:

I'm still clinging to OS 9.2.2 on the G3, and 7.6 / 7.5.3 on my 1400c. Color me old fashioned. :chuckles:

Once again, nice work.
