ATA-133 seems to be the best storage option. I've had tons of SCSI devices, and the big drives are still really expensive. I got the 250GB Maxtor drive from CompUSA for $120. I couldn't pass it up. I just can't hold but one more of them in this case (2 drives max). That's the biggest problem.
All the awards that Apple had won for case design should have been taken away after they built the 8100, 8500 and 9500's. Those cases are teh suck.

Interesting, I just pulled that rubber tire thing outta no where. 
My old linux box is also a PDC for my network and a Samba file server. It's nice to see windows interact with another OS that it thinks is windows, but isn't.

:chuckles: I hear you. Remember the imagewriters... man those things were fuggin expensive... I didn't have one but the school year book staff did (which I was part of).

As for being old. We upgraded my friends dad's old 8088 to an 80286. it had 512k of memory. it was smoooth. We knew how to party down back in high school.
