dvd shrink is free.

avi -->vob is a complicated process. imo, it takes too damn long. just get a blockbuster unlimited pass for $25, and dvd shrink, and a dvd burning program.

this is the copy method i use.. i found a cracked version of DVD2One on astalavista.. the trial version will still let you compress, but it won't let you keep any menus or extra features. once the conversion is complete i just use nero to burn.

okay so blockbuster cant tell if i copy their dvd's....and i juss need to buy or download dvd2one... and from what i understand it is like a dvd ripper?? it rips the dvd movie onto my pc...? is that features and menus and all? and then i just need a dvd burning program and burn it?? i think i got it and will try it out thanks everyone!!!... and does anyone have dvd2one that i can download off em or should i just go and buy it? also that is for pc's not mac right? well thanks guys!!!

 

use dvddecrypter to rip.. dvd2one or dvdshring to compress.... nero to burn

okay dvd decrypter came with my pc so i already have that one... i am looking online to find a download version of dvd2one...hopefully i will find a site that i can download it free...and i will try and find nero as well... thanks a lot blackmagik if you know of where i can get the programs free it would be a GREAT help.... thanks alot

okay i got dvd decrypter and nero but i cant find dvd shring or dvd2one... is there anything else that does the same thing?
