Default Car Insurance?

Ok so I'm shopping around for prices for new auto insurance for myself. Currently I'm paying 175 a month for full coverage on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma and I'm currently 22.

Any other cheaper auto insurances in Califonria? What are you paying, for what kind of car and how old are you?

I've already talked to Geico and they want twice as much for what I'm paying so they can go jump in a lake.
Next is Progressive Auto Insurance...

Currently I'm with AAA.

Any others I haven't heard of yet?

if geico quoted you 2x what your paying now then I would guess you don't have a clean record.

with that in mind, i have you have some lube ready. progressive is all marketing bs.

try 21st century (my old carrier) or mercury (my new one when the old one wanted to increase the price by 2x)

:werd: I've heard of quite a few people whose claims have been rejected because of Progressive's BS. My friend's car sat in an impound lot for a year when a female Progressive customer hit him because they refused to pay. It was a really sweet *mint* '82 Civic wagon too. :wtc:

Yeah I don't have a clean record, I have one point but it's coming off in November thank god. I also received a speeding ticket a month ago but I'm goint to traffic school for it so it doesn't show up on my record. And I think we use state farm for life insurance. :dunno:

2 points for an accident when I was 20. Got shafted because of the CA law, even the police were sympathetic because I was being screwed. Totalled my 2000 GSR, which I had own since new :wtc:
