there was a roach on my desk. i hit it, killed it. and then i hit it again for good measure, but then it dissappeared... where'd it go?

Some of them have really hard shells and just a quick wack won't be enough to crush em.

...Of course I always take that into account when I was going to smack one with a shoe and always go that extra bit to make sure it's dead on the first shot. Unfortunatly I usually end up breaking or damaging whatever surface it was on.

 

Sometimes even after you smoosh a roach's guts out it still moves.

 

maybe one of your coworkers wanted to hit it too so they stole it.... :dunno:
