Default Canon vs Olympus...

Er I used to have an Olympus that used SD which got stolen. Either way, to get pics off the SD i just hooked the camera to the computer and the SD's pictures would pop up as a "removable drive"

Fast foward to today and I've a Canon that uses CF and so far the only way I know how to get the pics off are via USB Twain which's a pain in the ass. Any way to do it via "removable drive" style??? Thanks....

Buy a card reader

Loading off the camera is for amateur n00bs that are too cheap to get card readers.

It loads faster through the card reader and a 9 in 1 card reader only costs like 10 bucks at Frys.

Oh...well I have 4 cards so its nice to be able to toss one in the reader on the laptop while I keep on shooting.

Of course I haven't used my digi in a while now.
