ive never driven a 4cyl tacoma....is the power sufficient? i also want the V6 to have a quieter hwy ride

In stock form I don't think they are too bad. I assume about 90% of your driving is local traffic anyways so it would be fine. Noise level isn't too bad at all from the ones I have driven and ridden in.

I dunno just a suggestion because going to an M you are again right back to high insurance and fair mileage at best...plus theft possibility once again.

You'd be surprised how cheap the insurance on the M coupe is
Also nobody steals a M Coupe. Theft for BMWs are generally a lot lower but for the M Coupe it's even lower :happysad:
