Default no more G? miscellaneous rambling

i'm thinking about selling the G. i realized that i'm not saving as much money as i should be. i'm far from my goal of buying a house on my own. on top of rent, car payments and insurance are stretching things. it's not killing me, but it leaves me very little income to put away.

i love my car to death, but it's also a burden. i'm paranoid about where i park, because it dings so easily. the two dings i have gotten were repaired immediately, at $90/each :happysad: i miss having a car that i can just park anywhere, and not care if it gets dinged or bumped. i've also never been so obsessed about keeping a car clean!

anyway, here are the cars i'm considering:

02-03 Toyota Tacoma - V6, 4wd, TRD package, 5 speed (~$18-20k)
Pros:
+Cheap
+Utility
+Toyota quality!
+Low cost of ownership
+Who cares if it gets dinged :chuckles:

Cons:
-Less civil than a car
-No pimp factor h:

99-00 Honda Prelude SH - 5spd, stock only ($14-16k)
Pros:
+Sporty
+Reliable
+Low cost of ownership
+Styling a bit more mature than a hatchback

Cons:
-Stupid "Asian in a Honda" image
-Possibility of theft / vandalism

99-00 BMW M Coupe - any configuration ($20-24k)

Pros:
+Unique
+Performance
+BMW engineering

Cons:
-higher maintenance costs + insurance than the other choices
-two seater
-rick has one! :fawk:

03 or 04 Acura TSX - with navi, 6 speed ($24-27k?)
Pros:
+Styling
+Comfort/amenities
+Sporty
+Reliable

Cons:
-I might not save too much money by buying another new car h:

i don't know if ill actually go through with this. a lot depends on how much i can sell my car for. if i have to take a hit of over $5000, i might as well keep it :dunno: i'm bored and thinking out loud :happysad:
