The 4300 has higher resolution and probably takes slightly nicer pictures, but its movie mode doesn't have sound.
The A70/A75 has a better movie mode and a few other neat features the 4300 doesn't have, plus it's like 3 ounces lighter if that matters. Of those two ya might as well go with the A75 since it's about the same price, is a bit slimmed down and has that print-n-share dealie.
You'll also want to get a 256 mb memory card which can be had for like 30-40 bucks nowadays after rebates.

I have the Minolta DiIMAGE XT and it's a nice camera. The size and almost immediate startup are it's best and most noticeable features. It does have a 3x optical zoom as well as 4x digital zoom, and is only 20mm thick when at full zoom or when off thanks to the folded zoom lens. I haven't yet figured out all the different settings or whatnot but once I do I expect good things from it.
Canon A75 would be my recommendation. Although I ended up buying the A80 the A75 is a great camera for the price.
Recommend checking them out first hand at a local store before buying.
some links that might be of help...
