I tried it over the weekend, and I didn't like it... I'm going to write my review soon...

But I agree, wasn't really worth it. I might take them up on their garuntee.

did you actually clean the car or just spray the soap on and then spray it off? You need to clean the car after the soap goes on and then wash it off

I sprayed the car with water, then sprayed with the soap water.... then used my wash mit to scrub. It made my mit all black and un-usable ever again.

No. I'd return the whole shebang, get your money back and buy quality soap and wash mitts. By the sound of things, perhaps a clay bar/detailer spray set as well. h:

If hard water deposits are a problem where you are, then I'd take care of that with an inline water softener for the whole house. And the residue left on your paint by hard water will damage the finish over time.

I posted this in another thread I had awhile ago...

But not after NXT wash (it has a sheeting action, it seems) and a stream of water.(this works with any wash, really--it's just the coherent property of water). This is a good trick. A final rinse without a nozel will sheet much of the water off. Saves time.

And my pakshak waffle weave that makes drying enjoyable.

The WW are pretty big, my favorite place to get them through is Pakshak.com.

I've had all my pakshak towels since december and they are still as good as new. One of the better investments you can make for detailing.

Waffle Weaves can also be used with "wax as you dry" type products (eagle one, rainx has one). This isn't a replacement for regular waxing--but myself and other Autopia members have found that EO Wax as you dry 1) gives a very good shine 2) lengthens the time between regular waxing and 3) provides a very slick finish.

Oh, and the polymer film it leaves. Eh, honestly, it's probably not even that stong at all. There would be no crosslinking as it's in a water solution. It would likely just wash off and be reapplied with another wash--or natural rain.

i already have gold class soap and a jug of other soap. i dont need a mitt, i already have 3 sponges with 1 that is a bit coarser. all im looking for is #16 wax that is in liquid form and not paste. oh and i do have a claybar set, EO wax as you dry, rubbing compound, cleaner wax and i already have used the mr.clean on two cars. plus it was only 19 dollars, id say it was much quicker than suual.

I bought the system. didn't make my white microfiber towel green at all. and when it dried I had no spots at all. except on the windows. they're still there even though I windexed em twice. Oh well. Overall if you're lazy and you don't care that much about the wax or whatever. go for it.

Since I don't really give a damn anyway and I'm getting my car painted sometime soon... I use it and I don't care. I'm gonna wash my dad's car with it this weekend and see how that works out.
