the wire burshes are really good in cleaning the whitewalled tires... and getting the blue off new goodyear tires... also any tire with white writing, it cleans all the black off the white..

def not for rims :doh:

they sell brushes that are made with bristles not unlike stiff toothbrush bristles. they won't scratch the rims at all, and they do a pretty good job at cleaning them. the only issues is they're usually pretty fat, and rims with relatively small corners or recesses in the can be a pain to clean. but i've never had too much of a problem.

a female friend of mine used a brillo pad on her civic to try and get the scratches out because a male (not-so) friend jokingly told her to use one :doh:

lol that is pretty damn funny..

i think the problem was she asked me what to use while i was busy and said "just grab a toothbrush or something"

i guess that means oversided metal toothbrush
