Hey, everyone.
I started working out 3 weeks ago, using bowflex. Then week ago my wife bought me a present (early birthday present) Mach 3 Pro Home gim. So this week I started working out every day.
I was told that I shouldn't work out every day same thing. Is it true?
How do you guys do planning? I use some of that GNC proteing shakes. But I don't know when and how much I should drink it (gal's at the store can only smile, and that's not a pretty smile either )
Also is there a site where it shows diferent exserses that helps you build sertain parts of your body.
I'm worring more about upper body. my lower is in decent shape (3 years in row - 3-6 miles walking and runnig every single day) But now when the summer is around the corner I want to get upper in shape.

Any advise please?

yeah...dont work out the same muscles everyday. alternate them, or do exercises that work similar groups. example of an upper body workout:

day 1: chest
day 2: shoulders
day 3. arms
day 4. back

for your protein intake, here's where some argument comes into play. depending on what brand you have (different amounts of protein per serving) - take one before workout, immediately after, and another before you sleep.

and just remember, take advice from people who ACTUALLY WORK OUT

wooot!! the ups guy just delivered them this morning

i tried one of the chocolate myopro shakes because i was running late for school and i didnt have time for breakfast so i popped out my free shaker and made myself a shake. it tastes pretty damn good:yumyum:. a lil better than choc optimum whey mix (which i used to take) and waaay better than choc isopure (which i took for about 1 week before i couldnt bare to drink it anymore). i made it with water, cause we were out of milk, but i suppose it would taste better with skim milk, which i'll try when i actually start my weightlifting routine

the problem was that i didnt drink enough water within a few hours after i took the shake, and i'll just put it like this: i feel like i was raped prison style.

if you take a high dosage of protein (40g+), be sure to drink lots of water!!!
