Default weird stuff going on... help?

Okay... i've an auction on eBay and get one of those questions submitted thru a form asking to pick it up locally. I reply and say yes etc...

The email address I wrote to, writes back and says:
"I don't know how I got involved in this but somehow someone is sending you email from me. I don't know how this has happened but I live in Virginia and have no interest in the item"
I'm like... okay someone stole his pass or something, oh well.

Well... a few hrs later, i get another email, from a totally different address basically saying "yea i'll pick it up etc..."...??? What is going on??

you're either getting scammed. or someone else is trying to be him so that you won't buy the item so that he could buy the item

No... thats MY auction, I'm selling the item and getting contrasting emails...

CLIFFNOTES: Some dude emails me about MY eBay auction and wants to pickup locally. I reply telling him my terms for such thing. Dude replies and says he didnt send such email. Later on, get reply from random email basically replying to the one I sent out.
