I get to carry, in a couple months.
Also get to purchase pre and post-ban Assault Rifles.

Oh yes. =]

You make it sound so easy to do in Kalifornia. Didn't Kali impliment it's own '94 ban, so you don't get what is nationally recognized as "post" ban?

That damn state goes crazy over everything. :screwy:

I'll be a Leo in a couple of months, (August), so I will get "special benefits" and get to purchase myself a nice Pre or Post-Ban Assault Rifle(s) of my choice. It will be "primarily for work purposes."

not really mine, but no one uses them but me.

HK USP 9mm

If you do that, you might as well try to convince your superiors to let you get a nice Colt M16A2.

But if I was a cop, I'd rather just use a Mossberg 590. I hope to buy one of them this summer.
That, but with ghost ring sights.

I will be purchasing a Pre-Ban Bushmaster AR-15, more than likely.

The M16A2 is just too long for my preferences and the requirements necessary for the job.

Uhh... I hate to tell you, but a standard AR15 is exactly the same size as an M16A2.
