how do rotors get glazed?
im getting new rotors and pads and i want to make sure they dont glaze over like the ones that are on my car now because then that would be a waste of money if i buy and install this new stuff and it turns out that i would have to do it again.
:wavey:
thanks.

Rotor glaze? I believe that's from contaminates (Like the rustproof coating that comes from the factory, chemicals from the new pads, etc) being baked onto the rotor, making it too slippery of a surface for the pads to catch.
Pad glaze is when the pads get compressed too quickly and they condense too much, losing their grip because their actual physical structure gets changed.
