Ah, the old "I have em so they're the best" line of reasoning.

I present for your viewing pleasure, information which hopefully is slightly more objective, from the Tirerack test of the tires which you have recommended.

"During the road ride portion of the evaluation, the HP4 716 was praised for its smooth, quiet ride. Road handling, especially around the faster, sweeping curves and on-ramps was not quite as crisp or connected as the other tires in this test.

Dry track handling was also found to be somewhat softer than the Potenza RE92 and Goodyear Eagle RS-A, and more like other tires in the Grand Touring All-Season category. Our team reported feeling the tire trying to grip the track surface, but it was hard to maximize handling at the limit because of the softer steering response.

Wet track performance was found to be similar to what was found in the dry. Overall handling and steering response was a bit soft compared to the Potenza RE92 and Goodyear Eagle RS-A. The level of grip during steady state cornering on the skidpad and under braking did provide some additional confidence, however, allowing the HP4 716 to post the second best average overall lap time."

The RE92 was stock on the 5th gen Prelude and is stock on the WRX. Everyone hates those tires. But Tirerack says they're grippier than these Kumhos.

You should check out tirerack.com if you already haven't. I can get a set of 4 new tires exactly like the ones I have, 205/50R15 Kumho 712s for $200 a set. Damn good deal.

If you are looking for an all season tire check for the Yokohama Avid H4's

I have those on my Celi and I had them on the ex's old 00 Si. Good for the snow and rain we get in Utah!

Unless you need snow traction, you might as well get a summer tire. Pretty much all of them are designed to go through both dry and rainy conditions (with the exception of a select few dry-oriented models). The only thing that makes a tire "all season" is that it has a mud & snow rating.
I have these and I really like them. They have had good wear of about 15,000 miles and are relatively quiet and have pretty good handling. My car doesnt see any snow so i dont know if they are good for snow. Not bad in rain though and tirerack.com has had favorible reviews and tests of them. I couldnt pull good 60 foots on them though as you can see in my sig. Although this is mostly due to my inablility to drive. I run 205/50/15 size and they really dont stick out at all. My friend that has the same size azenis's on his si, noticed that his really stick out. Overall i give the tires a 8.5 out of 10. Not a bad tire.

I have the Dunlop SP5000s on my Matrix 2wd. They are in my opinion the best option for all season performance. Good grip in any condition I have met; including 4" deep snow with no chains!

Comparing them to ES100s, SP9000s, Toyo T1 Plus, and Azenis I have had on my integra; I would choose the SP5000s any day for my winter/all season tire.

I just got the new Toyo P4's and they are great. 205/50/15. its an all season tire that still has excellent grip in the rain and dry.  from me
