Ehhh

How can you be sure that person even remotely would have wanted to be baptized? I mean really the person is dead they have no choice anymore in the matter. Is this just because a family member converts and makes special request of the church or something?

I dunno man your making it sound crazier and more a fanatical cult than a religion with every post you continue to make.

also, we perform whats called Baptisms for the Dead... where we are able to baptize those before us who were never introduced to the faith either.

120 temples world wide is EXACTLY my point.

but like b16aegcivic and deek said, if you take your book as fact, why can't every other religious scripture be taken as fact?

Goodness I can't believe I'm still doing this, but your ignorance knows no bounds.

There are religious texts other than the bible...i.e. the Qur'an, the Torah, and the Tao Te Ching.
