MP3 player question time
Hello all,
I want to get an MP3 player for mobile and automotive music purposes. These are my choices right now. Please share your inputs on these two devices. Thanks
The one on the left is the new Dell DJ. It is currently priced at $249. The one on the right is the Apple iPod, currently priced at $299. Both have 15GB capacity

ipod all the way!! i got a free 15 gig iPod from work and i love it!! its so nice and sleek, takes up arounde 3700 songs. The touch screen is nice and it has a nice bright white light. Only thing is that the accessories are a bit expensive but thats not too bad all you'll need is a docking station and maybe some rca wires if you want to put in your car like i'm doing.
i dont know much about the dell. but my friend has an iPod and i think it works great. he's actually selling it because he got an alpine mp3 head unit. if he hasnt sold it yet, you want me to find out info on it? i dont know how many gig's his is

yes they have the mini ipod that hols 4gigs, but the 15gig ipod is still pretty damn small! the 4 gig mini is 249, but its not too much smaller it does look tight but i'd go with the 15 gig, it doesnt bother me while its in my pocket, not bulky at all.

the relliability issues are that the battery is not ment to be changed by the owner, they are lithum (i tink its called) and like all rechargable batteries denegerate with every charge, they last a couple years i think and then you can send it to apple fo 99 bucks and tehy will put a new one in and send it back.
