should be okay

in my friends E34 1990 525i he changed the tranny fluid at 180K miles and BMW was pretty smart. They magnetized the drain plug so a lot of the metal shavings were stuck to the drain plug. He removed it and thought it was 2 times longer than it really was

but his tranny still works well at 230K miles (also automatic, should be same as yours)

850i is the hotness but I kind of like the ///M6 more. Although I have been on a bit of an ///M6 obsession lately so that doesn't really mean anything. It sure is fun to type the three slashes before an M car though. Ooooh look, I'm cool!

///M Shoe
///M5
///M3
///M535i
///M635CSi

Damn if I ain't one super cool dude now for typing all that out.
