I can't think of anything in a car where you'd want metal shavings or metal shavings = good
If you've never changed it, then it might be worth while.
My car has 38K miles.

actually it makes any sports car look good.
but I don't see how you can compare a 4000lb luxo cruiser with a "exotic" japanese car that weights 3/4 the weight (if that).
