minitruck handling
I know you can get bolt in shock kits for the tacomas. I want to know how well a truck could handle if it were lowered with performance shocks and springs. If the answer is not well, well forget a truck I'm getting a BMW then.
I agree with 93HybridCX...Toxic shocks are probably by far the best shocks for minis. The ride quality will depend, of course, on how low you go, and what you use to lower the pickup. I had a Nissan pickup lowered about 5-6", and it sat no more than 3 or 4" off the ground. It rode pretty rough, but handled amazingly. If you lowered the pickup 3-4", the ride will probably be a bit stiffer, but certainly decent. Any more than that (probably 5+) without an air suspension or something to that effect might be a bit more rough and could require c-notching the frame, and other super fun mods.
Damn that's not bad. My friend who is all into airbags was poking fun of the fact that I waned a car that could handle. I like trucks a lot, but I hate the slopy handling. Thanks for the help.

He's literally talking about modified tacos. I've heard of minitrucks pulling that off. I was just wondering how possible it was. Any clue how hard it is to swap in the shock spring kit and how much cash?
