sad, what do you do?

I'm really down in the dumps lately. I just broke up with my gf, I'm not liking my classes at all, and I feel really alone. I need something to raise my spirts...and no I'm not going to go find some slut and fukk her. I guess I'm looking for perspectives on what can make me think happy thoughts. I dunno. I just feel really lonely and I don't want to feel this way.

 

go kick it with the boys and laugh it up.

 

just realize that its only a phase, and phases end. when im feeling like this...i just call my buddys up. then we go grab drinks, or dinner, or a movie...and if you want use them to spill your sad stories. that helps also. just avoid being alone, thats when your mind starts to wander.

I start smoking, alot. But that's not an option for you. I get really drunk and surround myself with friends. One thing that did help me recently was focusing on nothing but my car. I'm still hurting, and just hope at this point the only way I can go is up.

 

see the thing is I don't have many friends right now. I live with the ex, and a mutual friend, but other than that my choices for friends is pretty damn limited. I'm not a big sociallite...thats part of why I loved having a girlfriend. Someone I could always be around and feel comfortable with.

How far away do your parents live?

 

my dad is about an hour away, and my mom is an extra half an hour in the same direction.

I just got back from my mom's wedding this weekend, so seeing her get married doesn't help the fact that I feel alone, but she gave some good words of wisdom. This is one of the times where I wish I could live with my mom again so I could just hang around her and not feel so alone.

i had a "friend" similar to you. he has a long time gf but not really any boys to hang out with. i dont kick it with him anymore, i guess its cause he is a weirdo :dunno:
