Well, you can tell it's quite a distance, because A) the lag between the gunfire and the appearance of the bullets, and B) the people on the ground were unable to tell if the helicopter was nearby or not, thus ultimately being the downfall of the third guy... but I doubt hiding under the truck would have saved him long
