Meh... I'd like to remind you that, in all reality, christ probably looked more like osama than aragorn...

We probably have this cultural imprint of the "King of Humans" too, that could cause us to seek such ties between religion and pop media

i saw the first two LOTR movies about 5 times (each) and didn't really notice anything like that.

 

its nont about what he actuallly looked like.. its abouut what everyone's perception of him his... and i dont remember the first to lotr but in the 3rd he has fuller beard throughout and moreso at the end... and hmi beinig the "kiing" and all

though it's not that obvious. i don't know who the jesus character is supposed to be - aragorn didn't die for our sins or anything remotely close to that
