oh wow, I'm glad your ok. Now I am worried about going snowboarding. Can you use any type of helmet? Maybe I will wear one since I have never snowboarded before

You should get a snowboarding helmet since it is built for snowboarding. It should have a strap or something in the back to hold your goggle headstrap.
