Pentiums use less electricity and if you download, you will need more than 80 gigs for a HD. Also, I personally like to create a 20-30 gb partition for programs so defragging isn't needed as often.

The FX-51 is the one that I've seen compared to the P4EE.

My P4 is 533MHz FSB....that P4EE looks mighty tasty to me (2MB cache :drool: )...but I am not gonna spend that much money.

DVD burners will burn CD-R/W's just fine. Life span.... I've never seen a burner of any kind die from burning too much.

I have 2 friends that have burned well over 2k (yes, 2,000) cd's on the same burner and never had a coaster cause of the burner.
double the price for the same performance. good luck with that :thumbup:

Make sure you get a clear case with a bunch of neon lights and stuff because then your computer will be faster cuz um yeah.
