question: im planning to spend a day in the snow learning how to snowboard. im also planning to rent the board and bindings. what other equiptment will i need?

goggles? face mask? protection equiptment?

what brands are cheap and good h: got pics of your equiptment? :naughty:

 

clothing!....what should i wear? im from cali remember. so i gets cold.

i already have a pair of snowpants. but thats it.

beanie, jacket, gloves. the way i see it, clothing companies are mainly the same, it's just all about style. get something comfortable, and warm and dress in layers because you will get hot and want to take stuff off.

when i went. i had a t shirt, turtle neck over that and a snowboard jacket. thats all. oh and matching pants on the bottom. its loads of fun. i ski before and skate(roller/ice) before also. so my balance wasn't that bad. had a lot of fun just on the bunny slope
i went to Boreal. which is the closest one to sac.
they gave free newbie lessons. they're very nice there. and the lesson was bout an hour and hella helps. so take it!!
