Can you confirm that?

I can't confirm this cause i don't have an F22 anymore but all the engines use the same size seal its the size of the enter filter that is different if you take a S2K and new size filter and place the seals together they line up so i would assume they would. Also the F and H series blocks are brothers and sisters of eachother so i don't see why not.

I guess I can always go to the dealer and ask them to show me both and compare it myself.
I was comparing the stock honda oil filter that was used for every car before the change to teh little one (as pic above) adn the S2K filter and the seals lined up perfect.

Ps you can also do like you say and go to the dealer and ask for both and compare

Thanks Any difference in performance?
Nope I just kept with the larger filters because of the fact that teh new ones are made by FRAM and after reading the reports about them failing I wanted the best for my H22

i jus buy the cheapest ones from kragen like 2 for 6 for fram filters, never had a problem so far.
my dad went 30k using the same filter (fram?), lol, he said he was too scared of changing the oil filter, crazy bastard...
but we also dont "race"

Even if Fram makes them Fram makes them to Hondas specs. They can't be that bad. I always use OEM filters.

This is a very good point!!! It would be interesting to 'dissect' a genuine Honda 'Fram' filter and a regular Fram to see how they compare.
