Even if you look case by case Clinton was quite successful in Northern Ireland and Haiti... and not so successful in the Middle East. Not that anyone's ever successful in the Middle East for more than a week.

Also, I seem to remember him coming to an agreement with the North Koreans regarding weapons grade plutonium and the halt of their nuclear weapons research...

But you know what, I feel a lot better now that Bush pissed them off and they're building nukes again. That's just what we need.

you conveniently forget the thousands of civil rights violations commited by the countries in question. Yeah but in that case, lets go bomb China right? Thats not the point in question, however, when we are already being threatened by a hostile country, its fuel to the fire.

I like how you convieniently forget that the countries against are are on our bad side for a reason. But no, Saddam is a good guy after all right? His history of civil rights is just dandy

He solved the 300+ year fued between the Catholics and Protestants? :chuckles:

Care to indulge me as to what Bush did to aggrevate psycho ass Kim Jong-Il? Because its easy to say that Bush caused all of this, but not so easy to explain why.

Why do you make the ignorant assumption that I am defending Sadaam I am in no way defending what he did, but rather the fact that we are invading Iraq on the pretense of chasing Osama who just so happened to be trained by the CIA and just so happened to dissapear from sight and no one is saying shit about the fact that we have pretty much stopped searching for him.

As for China since the US is on such a civil rights kick with president gung ho in office then why not...they have WMDs and flaunt them...they aren't on our good side for the most part...they pose a viable threat...they promote civil rights offenses. Yeah lets bomb the piss out of em and show the world we are tough....oh wait we can't do that because they would kick our ass and we know it and China i friends with many other countries so we would be in a bind if we did it.

Get a clue RB and quit making assumptions about my comments and dislike for GW

We supported Saddam against Iran AFTER he used chemical weapons against the Kurds.

And as for human rights... why don't you do some research into how wonderful things are in Nigeria? What, haven't heard anything about it on the news? Maybe that's because Shell is making billions of dollars a year from the oil it's pumping out of Nigeria?

Hmmm......

Big government doesn't care about human rights violations, dictatorship, any of that bullshit. They'll prattle on about democracy but the bottom line is this:

As long as the country opens its borders to free trade, there's no problem. We'll turn a blind eye. But if they don't allow US-based multinationals in, all of a sudden they're the bad guy.

By calling him part of the "Axis of Evil" and equating North Korea with Iraq, and then stating his intention to invade Iraq? Does any of this ring a bell? :slap:
