i agree. i'm athiest/agnostic/don't care and not gonna waste my time worrying person

what defines a sin anyway?
it seems to me that alot of what "sins" are, are just religious bans on aspects of human nature/instinct

anyway, sounds like you're trying to justify doing something wrong. Cheating is cheating...and yes, nobody dies as a result, so you could argue its not as bad, but still, doing something wrong, in the eyes of God atleast, is still bad. It seems like you are worried about religion, and yet you say you aren't really religious. Why are you so flustered?
I worry about what I don't know, and what I don't quite uunderstand. I'm not really religious because I know only what I was raised to know, which would only include prayers before bed and meals and church on sundays. I say "I'm not really religious" because majority of the time I don't do things God wants me to but rather things I want to...which is bad.... I haven't really took time to learn what I wasn't already taught.

I believe everyone does wrong, isn't that why we ask for forgiveness and try to repent?

I'm not trying to justify something I did wrong because I understand the concept of right and wrong...it's just that most of the time I don't realize the consequences of the wrong until later when I think about it.

I just brought up the topic because I had gotten finished watching that "SIN" movie with Brad Pitt and the seven deadly sins... kind of creepy movie..

I had that game. Worst game I've ever bought. Totally don't recommend it.

yeah really. what does sex before marraige have to do with believing in jesus/God? :dunno:

Too me a lot of christianity, depsite me believing in it, is based on scare tactics. Do this, do that, and you'll go to hell. Religion shouldn't scare you into believing. :happysad:

edit: oh yeah, and that brad pitt movie is called SE7EN. Absolutely awesome movie.

It's because Christianity views sex as sacred.

well thats obvious, but, when christianity is having faith in christ, what does sex have to do with it? Sex between two monogamous unmarried people doesn't hurt anyone, and yet its condemned. I dunno, just seems like one more rule to follow.
