It tastes exactly like the miso I eat at resturants. But I don't see what they are making it out of so thats why I've never seen it in anything but a packet.

And I'd say out of the many Japanese resturants I have eaten at that there is only one that is ran by actual Japanese people. And I know this because Lauren speaks Japanese and can tell whether the people speaking to each other are Korean or Japanese.

This one time she told this guy sitting near us that she speaks Japanese and than the guy asked the waitress if she did and in an embarassed look said "no."

Miso is fermented bean kurd. Korean miso is called denjjang. It's just a different bean. It comes in big jars. I haven't tried eating a spoon of miso yet, but I'm sure it would be a party in my mouth where everyone's invited.

Yeah, like that place Sushi Umi near Gardena Honda... or it's called Sushi Sumo now, I believe. That place used to rock, but now a korean lady owns it, and she fired all the japanese chefs, and hired her family who can't make sushi for shiat.

yoshinoya OWNZ that plaza ... and yah, i hear ya on the koreans running that place, i always see 'em outside smoking and giving me dirty stares as if they want to scrap. :wtf:
