Hmm... well it looks like I'm going to have to install my OS on another hard drive and see if I can transfer some data from my hard drives to the new one or something because I can't install the new OS w/o reformatting the HD. And I don't want to do that at this point, since there is stuff on there I don't exactly want to delete...

Start up your computer with the Win2K CD in the drive and open up the emergency repair console. Use the emergency repair tools to repair the boot sectors on your drives.

 

I don't think it's a boot sector issue. if it was he would be getting the ntloader not found or no os found error message.
