Maybe this is an isolated incident and he just was having a bad day. Needed to vent, but did it in the wrong way. I would explain to him how that made you feel, and see how he responds. If he continues to be like this I would end it, before you fall in love.

Depends on the guy but sometimes they think it makes them look like less of a man if their gf knows more about their car than they do...its a male dominated sport and the testosterone levels get high that way.

I mean you have noticed how many women we have on this board Yourself included we may have 14 or so women that post regularly anymore.

 

love is a hell of a long way out. at least i hope so, but you never can tell. but i do like him a lot and i would really like to see it work. i have a great time with him. and we go on cool dates imo. we go to the drag strip, or just hang out and watch the hockey game or work on our cars. its awesome, and its something that no other guy has ever done with me. all the guys ive dated have wanted me to be girly girls. he doesn't . i like that.

 

btw, he's a mechanic, and knows a hell of a lot more about cars than i do, so i dont think his ego is in danger.

 

Well, when someone is attracted to you...it's USUALLY because they like who you are. Like someone said, maybe he was having a bad day....but I say he's pretty screwy if he does this all the time.

no, it just happened saturday night. im not worried about an apology, i just want to know what the hell is going on. im so confused. this is why i stay single. i dont have to worry about all this crap.
