ok...so ive been dating this guy for a couple weeks, and friday night when he was dropping me off, he says that he wants to get more serious and be "exclusive". well, i didnt hear from him saturday, so i called to see how he was, and he yelled at me 'cause "he shouldnt have to call me everyday" then last night he tells me that he's stressed and needs to think about us. i dont get it. one minute he tells me he wants to be exclusive and the next, he's freaking out. whats up? help me here guys.

bullshit!... if a guy wants to be serious with you he is required to call AT LEAST 1 time a day unless he sees you in that day in which case he is required to do nothing more.

 

:eh: I never knew there were set rules for dating.. I must have missed that handbook.

Maybe the thought of being exclusive freaked him out. If you're seriously interested in him... let him grow up a little.. and in the mean time.. do what you want. If not... move on..

 

i dont care if he doesnt call me everyday. i like having my space. i just simply called to say hello and ask how his day was because he had a lot to do that day. :dunno: i dont know what to do. id normally just forget about it and move on, but i really like this guy.

 

i call my GF of 3 years 1 time a day....then if she wants she calls me, i neevr talk on the phone...usally like 3 mins outta the day to her....unlike when we first started dating and i would talk to her for hours

 

Since you do like him.. I guess wait it out and let him approach you. But all signs point to "freaked out". Also.. don't be afraid to stick up for yourself and say :wtf: to a turn of events like that. He made the first step in saying he wanted something more. You were just showing him you cared enough to see how he was doing after a busy day. Not saying he's completly in the wrong... but.. the way he reacted would deffinatly raise a few eyebrows and I wouldn't hesitate to question it after he approaches you.
